Membrane Roofing - Membrane Roofing Systems
Conquest Liquid Membrane System (Final Flat Roof™)
Final Flat Roof™ roofing products do not require special equipment for their application. Each single component system can be sprayed, rolled or brushed onto a variety of conventional roofing systems to achieve a 100% waterproof solution.
Final Flat Roof™ can be applied to an existing roof with standing water and stop roof leaks. If a roof coating cannot be applied to the roof with water, then it cannot be waterproof and will fail quickly! Final Flat Roof™ is the only roof coating in the world that can be applied and cure even under salt water.
General Application Steps
- Remove any wet and/or damaged roofing material
- Repair any suspect seams, tears, splits or voids using Envirogrip™ web backed sealant tape
- Remove latent dirt by powerwashing and let dry
- Apply Final Flat Roof™ at the specified rate for system (2 gallons per 100 sq. ft. for most applications)
Application Advantages
- Reduced labor cost - Many single coat applications
- 100% waterproof membrane
- No ponding water exclusions once cured
- Low odor - won't disturb building occupants
- Doesn't freeze - extends roofing season
- Resistant to oils and acids
- UL® Class A Flame Resistant
- 100% Mold Resistant (Per ASTM D 3273 testing)
Financial Advantage = $$$
The repair and restoration of your roofing system is considered a maintenance item and is treated differently than a roof replacement. Under I.R.S. regulations, maintenance items are considered an operating expense and are tax deductable in the year the expense is incurred. Conversely, a roof recovery or removal and replacement is a capital expenditure and subject to a 39 year depreciation schedule under current IRS regulations. Consult your accountant for more details on how your company may benefit from this tax regulation.
URBAN HEAT ISLAND
What Does It Mean For Your Building?
Urban Heat Islands are a documented metropolitan problem. NASA has shown that nationwide our large urban environments have increased area ambient air temperatures by as much as 8°F to 10°F due primarily to dark roofing and pavement surfaces increasing energy use and poor air quality. As urban sprawl develops, parks, trees and wetlands have been replaced with roofs, roads and parking lots which inherently produce increased temperatures for the surrounding area. Solar reflective and emissive roofing surfaces have been shown to greatly reduce the Urban Heat Island effect.
Conquest Liquid Roofing Membranes are U.S. EPA Energy Star® and Cool Roof Rating Council rated and designed to help mitigate the Urban Heat Island effect to your building.

Reducing roof surface temperatures will lower the amount of absorbed heat by your roofing system lowering your building's interior temperature and energy use. Reducing roof surface temperatures will also reduce the ambient air temperatures around your HVAC equipment increasing equipment performance and creating energy and maintenance savings. All this translates into less money spent on energy and maintenance for your business.
During daytime hours, dark roofing surfaces absorb the heat of the sun, increasing roof surface temperatures in excess of 160°F on 90°F days. Even after the sun goes down, Energy Star® and CRRC rated roofing systems continue to provide benefits. Dark roofing systems with poor solar reflectance ratings continue to radiate heat for long periods even after being removed from direct sunlight. However, Energy Star® and CRRC rated roofing systems with excellent reflectivity and emissivity values quickly return to ambient air temperature when removed from direct sunlight, reducing the need for air conditioning during daytime and even nightime hours.
HVAC mechanical units are commonly installed onto the roofs of industrial and commercial buildings. HVAC units are ASTM tested for performance at 95°F. When HVAC units are installed on a roof that is low in reflectivity and emissivity, roof surfaces can reach over 165°F, greatly affecting the units energy performance causing increased energy and maintenance costs.

Conquest Liquid Roofing Membranes
Conquest Liquid Roofing Membranes are designed to penetrate the existing roofing substrate and create a permanent bond with excellent adhesion to most substrates. Final Flat Roof™ Liquid Roofing Membranes are also designed to create an overlapping waterproof membrane which prevents bleed through, resists long term ponding water and adds to the product's high emissivity and long term UV resistance with negligible mil thickness loss.
Conventional Liquid Roofing Products
Conventional liquid roofing products have low adhesion to existing roofing substrates and require surface primers and multiple coat applications in order to achieve a surface bond. The majority of these products lose surface mil thickness from UV degradation and are unable to handle ponding water for more than 48 hours without surface delamination. The majority of t hese products are also not considered waterproof due to permeation values greater then 5 perms.
Conquest Liquide Membrane System
Final Flat Roof™ membrabe roofing systems are designed to restore and extend the life of your existing roofing system for a fraction of the cost of conventional roofing applications. Final Flat Roof™ brings USDA Certified biobased soy polymer chemistry to the industrial roofing market. Final Flat Roof™ roofing systems are 100% waterproof membranes designed for use over low-slope roofing systems where ponding water may exist. With successful field and third-party testing, Final Flat Roof™ advanced roofing systems are the future of industrial roofing.
